DIT

Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) was statutorily established to provide education and training to support the technological and commercial development of the Irish economy. In addition to providing extensive programmes of study at a range of award levels, it also engages extensively in research, consultancy and development work. It is characterised by a broad range of disciplines, multi-level provision through to doctoral level, and with a strong orientation towards science, technology, engineering and business. DIT became a member of the European Universities Association (EUA) in 2004.

The Faculty of Business is Ireland’s largest business school, comprising five specialist schools, including the School of Marketing. The Faculty Academic Board oversees and manages all academic provision, in accordance with DIT Quality Assurance regulations.

It has been a significant provider of postgraduate education since 1982 and currently offers a range of taught programmes, in addition to a postgraduate research programme for students at Masters and Ph.D level.

The Faculty is strongly networked into the business community, and it delivers extensive customised management development programmes direct to corporate clients, including Musgraves Group, Intel Ireland, Irish Aviation Authority, Aer Rianta, and InterTrade Ireland.

The Faculty has a strategic drive to expand international activity for staff and students to business schools throughout Europe, the United States and Canada. Such partnerships enhance the capabilities of the Faculty.

DIT’s Faculty of Business is a member of the European Federation for Management Development (EFMD) and the Network of International Business Schools (NIBS).

The Marketing Institute of Ireland has partnered with DIT to create and deliver this Executive Masters programme as we wish to benefit from its faculty bench strength, its robust quality assurance machinery, and its reputation for producing highly employable graduates.
